About Maplehurst Country Club
Maplehurst Country Club is one of the finest
golf courses located in the Western
Appalachian region. The course is set on a
hillside, offering a breathtaking view of
Frostburg, Maryland.
Owned by the club members, this fine facility
offers golf course conditions that rival many
other clubs in the state, an outdoor swimming
pool with a view of the course, and a member's
lounge overlooking the putting green. The club was opened in 1956, and was designed by golf course architect, James Gilmore Harrison, an associate of the world famous Donald Ross.
The spacious clubhouse has a versatile second
floor dedicated to outside catering. The
ballroom accommodates up to 150 people for
wedding receptions, class reunions, seminars,
meetings, dances, holiday parties, and banquets.
The Mapleroom member's lounge overlooks tees on
holes 1 & 10, the greens of holes 9 & 18 and has a spectacular view of the mountains and scenic Frostburg.
Maplehurst is a semi-private golf club.

The Maplehurst Country Club’s mission is to provide an environment for the enjoyment of playing golf by families and individuals at the lowest cost possible. The purpose is to create a cordial atmosphere and location to eat, drink, and socialize with other members of the community, to provide a healthy swimming pool environment, and to maintain a facility to house and protect owner and member golf carts.
